Misdiagnosed and Denied

I have no pre-existing conditions. I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder two years ago. I have been off meds for a year and cleared by my current Doctor as not having bipolar disorder. I still cannot get approved. I have not been able to acquire reasonable health insurance on my own since 2006.

They will not disclose as to why my application is denied -- they state "psychological history” when I have none. No psychiatrists or meds other than the misdiagnosis. I have been cleared.

I now pay $340.00 per month for health insurance premium - myself only through my fathers company. I have visited all doctors a total of two times this year. Do you think they are getting their money's worth from me? I am unable to obtain cheaper insurance - I keep getting denied. I am one to visit the doctor only when in severe agony and close to death.

I am for socialized healthcare - it is a shame the way this has been allowed to go on for as long as it has. The insurance companies get fatter wallets while people die because of claim denials.
