My son's denial of speech therapy
My 3 year old son, who was born with a unilateral cleft palate, was denied speech therapy because he would need speech for a longer period of time than the 20 sessions covered! So he needs it, but because he needs it more than they would cover, they won't even let him have it at all. They also won't cover any orthodontics even though the teeth issues come from a medical verses cosmetic reason. I have 3 kids with cleft palates, and these are very burdensome expenses for me.
