Using up annual mental health inpatient services
I was in UW Hospital in Madison, A hospital that I worked for. This was about 10 years ago. I was given Haldol which made me too sick to care for myself. My doctor sent me back to UW hospital which would not treat me in the emergency room. At home I was not able to talk, swallow, walk or do anything to take care of myself.
If not for my sister who came and took me home with her, I wonder If I would be alive today. After hospitalization in a private hospital, UW hospital had to take me back because of a court order from a Dane County Judge.
