Guaranteed Healthcare

As of 06/08 DSHS has declined my request for cash and medical assistance. I've done everything they asked, filled out all the paper work went to see a specialist about this issue. Yet seemingly request after request it gets denied. I've been diagnosed schizoaffective disorder and am forced to wonder at the reason that the government seems to be so reluctant to help those with mental illnesses. Could it be because of the rising cost for medications?

It seems as if health insurance is for the select few and more and more companies don't care about the people. As of lately I've contemplated suicide and feel that the world would care less if I died tomorrow. I've been nothing more than a liability for my family. I've lost my job due in part to my illness and now have no real way to get out of it. Now I am waiting and waiting for something to happen and wondering if the United States truly cares about those it serves.
